Jai Field named Glen's Player of the Month

Rugby League fans have spoken - and Jai Field of Wigan Warriors has been named Glen's Vodka Super League Player of the Month for February.

The 27-year-old is currently the competitions joint top try scorer after the opening rounds of the 2025 campaign and was at his electric best in Round Two scoring a hat-trick against Hull FC.

The halfback continued this form into the Warriors historic fixture against Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas crossing the whitewash in the first half as Matt Peet’s side cruised to a 48-24 victory.

Filed was also a key figure during Wigan’s comeback against Huddersfield Giants last weekend scoring a try as well as assisting another having already made a try-saving tackle on Giants winger Adam Swift.

The battle for who will follow Field as Glen's Vodka Player of the Month for March will continue next Thursday (March 20) when Salford Red Devils face Huddersfield Giants in a clash that can be seen live on Sky Sports+ from 8pm with the remaining round 11 fixtures taking place across that weekend 5. The shortlist will be announced at the end of the month.
