Thompson's tackles Super League as official partner for 2025 season

Weatherproofing brand, Thompson’s, will launch an official partnership with the Super League at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle – and will be offering fans the chance to win tickets to the Grand Final at Old Trafford in October. 

Thompson’s, part of the Sherwin-Williams family, offers a range of weatherproofing and cleaning products, such as its One Coat Water Seal and Emergency Roof Seal, allowing users to quickly and easily tackle problems around their homes or sites.

For the 2025 Super League season, the brand has announced that it will be an official partner as part of a major ‘Tackle it with Thompson’s’ campaign, which will be seen across trade and consumer markets - and which also includes a tie-up with The Home Improvements Channel.

The Magic Weekend sees an action-packed weekend of Rugby League, with all 12 Super League clubs playing an entire round of fixtures over two days at the iconic St James’ Park in Newcastle. A brilliant event, known for its vibrant fan zone where supporters can congregate before and after their teams’ fixtures have been played, over 60,000 people are expected to pass through across the weekend.

The season then culminates in the Grand Final, which has been hosted at Old Trafford since 1998, with the two best teams facing off for the chance to lift the Super League trophy – with reigning champions Wigan Warriors aiming to complete a hat-trick of titles in 2025.

At the Magic Weekend, Thompson’s is looking to capture the attention of game goers, with a fun challenge. Clara Dursent, Brand Manager, Sherwin-Williams UK Limited, explains more.
