Fantasy League debrief
4 hrs

With the Betfred Super League heading up to Newcastle for the 2025 Magic WKND, here is a look at some of the key information from Fantasy in Week 9...
Top performers
Red Devils stand-off Jayden Nikorima was the top scorer in the Fantasy game this week with 97 points - and that's 12 more than second place.
Nikorima provides a running threat and made over 200 metres and provided a try assist during the contest on Saturday.
Taking the second and third spot this week are two players from Wigan Warriors. Young second rower, Junior Nsemba, was the second highest scorer with 85 points.
Nsemba scored twice and posed a constant danger to his opposition. Is he a player you need to add to your Fantasy side?
Just like his teammate Nsemba, Bevan French also crossed for a double and was the third highest scorer in the game with 81 points.
French made 187 metres from just 18 carries during Wigan's away success in Hull.
The Warriors face a Warrington Wolves side at Magic WKND who suffered an array of injuries in Round 9. Is fantastic French a player you should add before the trip to the Toon?

Fantasy Flops
Tommy Makinson was the lowest scorer in Fantasy this week, with the winger failing a Head Injury Assessment (HIA) just 10 minutes into the clash with Wakefield Trinity.
Makinson came into Round 9 in fine form, with a hat-trick in Rivals Round. Due to the failed HIA, however, the veteran winger will now miss Magic WKND, which is a devastating blow for the player who arguably epitomises the event.
With this in mind, Makinson is one to replace heading into Rugby League's annual epic weekend.
Oliver Gildart has been a strong performer in Fantasy this season for the Robins, but scored poorly against the Rhinos on Friday; scoring just 12 points.
Heading into Round 9, Gildart had claimed a total of 343 points, so this could have been just a blip. At £100k, is he a player that is worth a gamble on?
Finally, Tom Johnstone scored just 19 points last Saturday, and at £140k, he is not a player you can afford to be producing repeat performances like this in future weeks.
Johnstone will face Trinity’s fierce rivals, Castleford Tigers at St. James’ Park in the final game of Magic WKND. Is it worth sticking with the Wakefield number five?
