Is Herman Ese’ese the best prop in the Betfred Super League?
The ‘Hermanator’ features in Team of the Week for a fourth successive round, highlighting what a stormer of a season he’s having for Hull FC so far.
It was another try for Ese’ese on Thursday night, who also put pen to paper and signed a new long term contract at the club, with his all-round efforts exceptional once again.
The powerhouse prop completed 23 tackles in defence, as well as 141 metres and eight tackle busts in just an incredible 15 carries. This was all in a ridiculous 60-minute stint too!

On Friday, 19-year-old Arron Lindop impressed for the Wolves and displayed the utmost confidence – backing himself to produce a sensational solo score and ensure his side had the first points on the board.

In defeat, James McDonnell stood tall for the Rhinos, with 41 tackles and a try.
There’s a trio of Trinity players in Team of the Week this time around, with captain Mike McMeeken leading by example on Friday night.
The England international scored two of Trin’s three first half tries, whilst assisting the other. This was before producing 101 metres and 37 tackles in a mind-blowing total of 64-minutes, as Wakefield continued their fantastic away form.
An experienced Liam Hood also takes his spot with one try and one try assist, and joining the duo is Tom Johnstone who did trademark Tom Johnstone things in Round 6 – with two length of the field tries and 197 metres in just nine carries.

Match-winner Jonny Lomax produced two decisive drop goals as St Helens snatched their first win since 2018 in the south of France.
Jack Welsby also emerged as the top metre maker of the match with 217 metres, placing Catalans constantly on the backfoot.

It’s back-to-back Team of the Week appearances for magic Mikey Lewis, who was at his brilliant best on Sunday with a perfect performance for the league leading Robins.
The current Man of Steel cooked up three tries, three try assists, 260 metres, eleven tackle busts and 23 tackles as he stole the show at the John Smith's Stadium, and Hull KR made it six wins from six.
Meanwhile, Wigan Warriors returned to winning ways on home soil, with hattrick hero Jake Wardle and teammate Junior Nsemba producing equally explosive performances for the champions.
