Play Fantasy League here!

The Betfred Super League Fantasy Game is back for 2025! Have you signed up to play yet?

The 2025 Betfred Super League season is just days away which means Fantasy League is back – bigger and better than ever!

With a host of exciting new arrivals alongside the current crop of Fantasy stars, as well as the chance to win monthly and overall prizes, it promises to be another competitive and spectacular season of Fantasy League.

But before you select your team, assign your captain and go up against your family and friends in a Fantasy mini league for bragging rights, here's the lowdown on a few Fantasy League must-haves for the 2025 campaign…

Mikey Lewis (170k)

Magic Mikey Lewis was Fantasy League's top performer in 2024. With a whooping 1850 points from 26 matches and as the current Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel, he is set for another big year and is an absolute must-have in your team.

The chart-topping Robin is predicted to do a lot more in 2025, hence the price hefty increase of 30k. He did average an insane 71 points per game last year, however.

Ultimately, you get what you pay for, right?

Herman Ese'ese (150k)

Powerhouse Herman Ese’ese shone in what was a difficult year for Hull FC last year, accumulating 1456 Fantasy points in 24 matches.

Only Rhyse Martin made more gain line metres as a forward in Super League than Ese’ese in 2024 – a remarkable statistic in a team finishing 11th and one that shows the front rower’s insane efforts.

This also demonstrates his ability to top the stats for the Black & Whites in adversity and still bring those much-needed Fantasy points.

Ese'ese is priced at 150k for 2025 – that’s a 20k price drop for the new season. Albeit, he'll be surrounded by a lot more experienced players in 2025, but nevertheless, he is definitely worth considering for your Fantasy team.

David Armstrong (140k)

There’s an appealing and reasonable price for Leigh Leopards’ new star man to be. David Armstrong is priced at just 140k and is one of the Leopards’ four overseas recruits.

Armstrong could be utilised in a number of ways by head coach Adrian Lam – making him an extremely valuable asset where Fantasy is concerned.

A lot of fans are talking about his searing pace over in the NRL, which is perfect for Fantasy as it's a point per every 10 metres gained...

Adam Swift (105k)

Swift is one of Huddersfield Giants’ main men, and he became the first player to score ten tries in Super League last year.

Unfortunately, an injury would cut his season short in 2024 meaning Swift only featured in ten league matches. Nevertheless, he was still a decent Fantasy League performer – averaging 50+ points a game.

This statistic was one similar to or higher than players who appeared in more games than Swift, highlighting he could have a huge impact in fans' Fantasy League teams.

The winger is priced at 20k less than last year, but when fully fit, is a pivotal part of the furniture in Luke Robinson’s side and renowned try scorer.

He will be ready to bounce back and have a phenomenal year in 2025, and don’t forget every try scored will earn you ten points in Fantasy!

Loghan Lewis (100k)

100k is a decent price for the versatile Loghan Lewis, who signed for Salford Red Devils midway through last year.

The Red Devils squad for 2025 boasts players with the ability to switch into multiple positions, so expect Lewis to be present on the pitch in some way, shape or form.

This hungry 21-year-old is an individual who has really found his feet at the club - and is certainly someone who could be worth including in your side, as he looks to push for weekly game day spot.

Leon Hayes (90k) / Oli Leyland (115k)

It’s worth noting that emerging talent Leon Hayes is priced remarkably at just 90k for the 2025 season.

Hayes made his competitive Super League debut in 2021, before breaking into the Warrington Wolves first team in 2024 and never once looking out of place. He started superbly last year making eight consecutive Super League appearances but sadly suffered a season-ending ankle injury.

Despite this setback, Hayes’ high spirits have continued, and he has been presented with the number 7 shirt by head coach Sam Burgess for 2025.

Hayes isn’t expected to play in the opening few rounds of the new season due to a minor injury, however. But when he does return, great things are being envisaged for the youngster!

For the time being it's possible that Oli Leyland, one of the Wolves’ new signing from London Broncos, could come in and partner Fantasy star George Williams.

He is priced at 115k, which is a rather substantial increase of 45k. He was a standout in a struggling Broncos outfit last year, which perhaps justifies Leyland's new Fantasy price and was well noted for causing all sorts of trouble for his opposition.

Could it be worth having these two halves in your Fantasy team and alternating? As the season progresses, factors outside of the club's control - such as inevitable injuries, mean both could be deployed throughout the year and could develop and prosper in attack with a plethora of Warrington stars around them.
