Jamie Peacock on the Grand Final

We’re ready for a classic Betfred Super League Grand Final - and I’m going for Elliot Minchella to be the first winner of the Rob Burrow Award.

I feel he could lead Hull KR to making history against Wigan tonight.

And I reckon they will do so in extra-time with our first Super League golden point Grand Final.

Mini’s had a great season and it’s brilliant how he’s managed to make it to the top, becoming an outstanding leader and pro’.

I was with him when he first started out at Leeds. Back then, he obviously made a mistake and ended up leaving.
But we all make mistakes when we’re younger. The key is not compounding those with more stupid mistakes.

Mini’s done the opposite. He’s done it the hard way and when you do it like that I think you treasure it all a bit more. You can see that with Mini. It’s a great story as he goes into his first Grand Final.

Wigan have an edge with big-game experience but KR might have it in terms of will and desire. If they truly believe in themselves I reckon they can upset a very, very good Wigan side.

Either way, it should be a belting final because we’ve got two teams who both pride themselves on their fitness and their ability to stay in games regardless of whether they are playing well or not.

Both have shown throughout the season they are able to do that.
