Voono Team of the Month

Give it a try by signing up to Voono here!

Following an eye-catching opening four rounds of action, the Voono Team of the Month is here!

Limited edition cards have been released in the game to celebrate Voono's top points scorers from across the Betfred Super League. The first of these cards can be obtained by competing in Voono's weekly league.

Fullback - Matt Dufty (Warrington Wolves)

Warrington Wolves' Matt Dufty is the first name on the Voono Team of the Month team sheet following an impressive month which saw the Wolves win in three of their four Super League outings.

Dufty has been named as the Smart Energy Metre Maker of the Week on two occasions and has totalled almost 700 metres in the opening rounds. The Australian has also scored three tries and created four helping him to a total of 298 season points to date.

With the winless Broncos next up for Wire, getting your hands on a Matt Dufty is a smart move!

Winger - Darnell McIntosh (Hull FC)

Despite a slow start for the Black and Whites, winger Darnell McIntosh makes it into the Voono Team of the Month with an overall season point score of 214.

McIntosh's best performance came in Hull FC's dramatic victory over London Broncos which saw him clock 86 points.

Centre - Toby King (Warrington Wolves)

Another Warrington player who makes it into the inaugural Team of the Month is centre Toby King. King currently has 253 in-game points from his four appearances in 2024 for the Wolves.

King's two tries and one try assist have helped his monthly score - however it is his impressive numbers across ball carrying that see him included in the team, with metre making, carries, and tackle busts all proving to be high-scoring traits for the England international.

Centre - Leroy Cudjoe (Huddersfield Giants)

The 35-year-old Leroy Cudjoe has certainly shown that he still has plenty left in the tank so far in 2024 not only as being one of the Giants' most consistent performers but he is currently being ranked as the number one player on Voono!

Cudjoe has amassed a whopping 476 points so far, with an average game week score of 119. His most recent outing against the Tigers was his most dominant clocking 163 points thanks to two tries, 109 metres and 43 tackles, of which 12 came from marker.

The Huddersfield stalwart is showing no signs of slowing down with Hull KR, London Broncos and Hull FC in his next three fixtures.

Winger - Ash Handley (Leeds Rhinos)

It won't come as a surprise to anyone that the Betfred Super League's top try-scorer and Glen's Player of the Month - Ash Handley - is also on the wing in the Voono Team of the Month!

The Rhinos flyer has already notched seven tries in his opening four games of the 2024 season as well as making more metres than any other player in the Betfred Super League with 694.

Having scored in every game so far this season, it would be wise to add Handley to your team if you can as we head into game week five...

Halfback - Mikey Lewis (Hull KR)

Magic Mikey Lewis is the first halfback selected in the Voono Team of the Month.

Lewis is currently the highest-scoring halfback in-game with a season total of 280 points despite a mixed month of results for the Robins. His most impressive game week came in the opening round defeat of Hull FC in which he earned 91 points.

With Hull KR welcoming Hull FC again in Round Six as part of Rivals Round, you can’t look past Lewis to pull out some magic in the Derby once again…

Halfback - Marc Sneyd (Salford Red Devils)

After being named as the Betfred Player of the Match in all three of the Red Devils victories this season, it is clear to see why Marc Sneyd slots into the halves in the Voono Team of the Month.

Sneyd sits behind only Lewis in the halfback Voono rankings in 2024 with 236 in-game points. The 33-year-old's well documented kicking game means he will always be a consistent point scorer.

Salford have the World Club Champions next up in Wigan Warriors before a run of game against Leigh Leopards, Castleford Tigers and London Broncos who form the current bottom three in the Betfred Super League.

Prop - Paul Vaughan (Warrington Wolves)

The third Warrington Wolves player earning selection in the first Voono Team of the Month is Australian prop-forward Paul Vaughan who has started the 2024 season in similar fashion to that of 2023.

Vaughan is a consistent metre-maker for the Wolves having surpassed the 100-metre mark in all four games this season, including a high of 182 in the defeat of Hull FC in Round Two.

Hooker - Jez Litten (Hull KR)

Robins' Jez Litten holds the top spot in hooker role following four Voono gameweeks with 399 points, which also means Litten is ranked as the second highest scoring player overall sitting behind only Leroy Cudjoe.

Litten enjoyed secured a huge game week score of 142 in Hull KR's Round Two 22-12 victory over Leeds Rhinos, which was boosted by 38 defensive efforts, 19 passes, three attacking kicks, three conversions and a try-assist.

If you are still in search of a hooker - Jez Litten is your man!

Prop - Chris Satae (Catalans Dragons)

In terms of new acquisitions for 2024, Chris Satae is the first to appear in the Voono Team of the Month following his off-season switch from Hull FC to 2023 Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons.

Satae ran for over 100 metres in three of his four outings in the opening month of gameplay as well as powering his way over for a try in the Dragons' defeat against Leeds in Round Three.

Second-Row - Matt Whitley (St Helens)

Another signing who has made an immediate impact at a new club is second-rower Matt Whitley who switched Perpignan for St Helens in the off-season.

Whitley's eye for the try-line saw him score three times in the opening two games of the season with the back-rower also notching try-assists in victories over the Broncos and Leopards. He also enjoyed his best defensive performance to date last time out against the Red Devils making 34 tackles.

Second-Row - Rhyse Martin (Leeds Rhinos)

Rhyse Martin completes the second-row after four solid performances in the opening four games of the 2024 season.

Martin already has 13 goals to his name, a try assist and the Papua New Guinea international went over for his first try of the season in Leeds' comeback victory over the Leopards last weekend.

Loose Forward - Elliot Minchella (Hull KR)

The third Robin included in the Voono Team of the Month is loose forward Elliot Minchella whose stock continues to rise after a strong showing in 2023.

Minchella's efforts in defence are currently his highest-scoring trait in Voono with the 28-year-old having made 38 or more tackles in each of his four Betfred Super League outings this season.
