Round 17 Team of the Week

Round 17's Team of the Week...

Tui Lolohea starred in Huddersfield’s emphatic win over Castleford with two breakaway tries, two try assists and 162 metres in just 13 carries.

It’s a trio of Leopards who feature in Team of the Week after the game of the season took place at Leigh Sports Village.

In what was a truly captivating spectacle, Leigh managed to overturn the champions with try scorers Edwin Ipape, Tesi Niu and Owen Trout all playing a significant role.

Wolves’ Ben Currie once again emerged as his side’s top tackler with 43 tackles and appears in Team of the Week for a second week running.

Kyle Feldt continued his fine try scoring form in the Red V, and it’s now nine tries in four games for the super Saints winger.

Four Trinity players earn their place in Team of the Week in Round 27 after their thrashing of Catalans Dragons.

Josh Rourke and Lachlan Walmsley both bagged braces, while Max Jowitt and Josh Griffin were also on the scoresheet. Jowitt also assisted one of Trinity’s eight tries on Saturday afternoon.

It was a spectacular performance from Leeds Rhinos on a Super League Sunday. They became just the second team to defeat the league leading Robins and close in on the top two.

The amazing Ash Handley assisted the match-winning try, ran 149 metres in just 13 carries and made four tackle busts, and he joined by teammate Sam Lisone.

Powerhouse Lisone enjoyed a ferocious 26-minute stint, making 15 tackles, 88 metres and an insane total of six tackle busts.

In defeat, Rhyse Martin represents Hull KR for his efforts.
