Man of Steel: How it stands at Halfway
6 hrs
- with the Round 14 MOS points revealed!

The Betfred Super League has hit its halfway point, and the current Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel leaderboard makes for an interesting viewing, as we head into the second half of the season.
Let’s take a closer look…
2025 Man of Steel Leaderboard as of Round 14:

Leeds Rhinos’ Jake Connor leads the way at the top with 21 points – five points clear of Hull’s Herman Ese’ese in second.
Ever-present Connor has been in impeccable form, and arguably one of the star signings of the 2025 Super League season.
He’s really found his flair under the stewardship of head coach Brad Arthur, racking up four tries and 17 try assists across the first fourteen rounds.
This clever playmaker has been the Rhinos’ mastermind in the current campaign, as Leeds find themselves rejuvenated and sitting pretty in third place…and look set to make a formidable charge to the Play-Offs.
A consistent Connor has picked up maximum points three times throughout the year, as well as two points on six occasions - including most recently in Round 14 against Warrington Wolves.
Can anyone catch Connor and knock him off the top spot?

In second place sits the Black & White powerhouse Herman Ese’ese on 16 points, and he has hugely impressed in the 2025 campaign. Rampaging runs? Monstrous metres? Solid in defence? No problem for the heroic Herman!
Behind winger Lewis Martin, the reliable prop forward is his club’s second top try scorer with seven tries, and has made the second most amount of metres with 1983.
He also tops the tackle bust count for FC with a whopping 73 – 31 more than any of his teammates, and is their third top tackler.
These exceptional efforts have seen him collect three points in three of the rounds, two points in three rounds, and one point in as many weeks.

Then, it's Jai Field of the champions who occupies third sport and is an individual who has truly shone in the Wigan Warriors team once again.
A fancy Field lights up the Super League competition – he isn’t the current top try scorer for nothing and his electrifying pace makes him a joy to watch for any rugby league fan.
He’s got 15 Man of Steel points to his name and is the only player to have banked three points in the most amount of rounds – and that would be four.
Who will stay on top of their game? Will the top three stay the same or switch as the season progresses?

Skipper Aidan Sezer (Hull FC) and Nick Cotric (Catalans Dragons) are the remaining players to make up the top five, with Lachlan Miller (Leeds Rhinos) Junior Nsemba (Wigan Warriors) taking sixth and seventh place.
The 2024 Man of Steel Mikey Lewis is a top ten contender once more, but this time he finds himself in eighth. Magic Mikey has only amassed eight points so far, and had fourteen points at the same stage last year.
The Hull KR hero has performed majestically in 2025, but will he be handing over his crown?

Edwin Ipape (Leigh Leopards) and Bevan French (Wigan Warriors) are ninth and tenth, respectively.
Remember; the leaderboard could all be set to change in the remaining rounds, and depending on player performances, movement is highly likely...
