Magic WKND Day Two Round Up
8 hrs

Huddersfield Giants and Hull FC got Magic WKND Day Two underway in a fiery contest.
The Giants, who hold the record for the most Magic Weekend wins in history, finally claimed their first Super League win of the season, as they edged out the Black & Whites in scintillating fashion.
Luke Robinson’s men welcomed back playmaker Adam Clune, and his side started as they meant to go on - leading 8-6 at half-time after George Flanagan's penalty goal and Leroy Cudjoe's sensational score.
Hull’s Herman Ese'ese also crossed to cut the deficit.
Hull were then reduced to 12-men when Liam Knight was sent off for a shoulder charge, before Jacob Gagai’s try, after a sleek cut-out pass from Clune, extended the Giants’ lead.
Lewis Martin’s flying finish brought the Black & Whites back within two points, but an extremely spirited Huddersfield held out to finally register two points, with magical post-match scenes (12-10).

Sunday's second game saw Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves take centre stage in a Magic showpiece.
Wigan's first two tries came on the back of some truly beautiful play - firstly Bevan French to Jai Field, before the iconic duo continued to showcase their famous combination, as Field to offloaded to French who raced away.

But Warrington, who were without either of their starting halfbacks, soon reminded St. James' Park of their quality as Matt Dufty produced some magic to send Jake Thewlis over in the corner.
The current champions remained in control, however, with French involved in the build-up to Wigan's third score, with a looping pass outwide to Abbas Miski who sailed in.
Adam Keighran then capitalised on a Wire error, racing more than 50m to touch down and looked to have secured a win for the Warriors.
But the Wolves dramatically fought their way back through Joe Philbin and Jake Thewlis to set up a grandstand finish, although Wigan held out to ensure a magic 22-20 victory.

A West Yorkshire Derby would bring down the curtain at the 2025 Magic WKND and it was Wakefield Trinity who secured a comfortable 8-32 victory against local rivals Castleford Tigers.
Winger Lachlan Walmsley was the star of the show for Trinity as he grabbed a brace either side of half-time whilst prop-forward Caius Faatili also noticed a double including a sensational 60 metre break finished under the sticks.
Max Jowitt had opened the scoring for Wakefield whilst Sam Wood and Josh Simm crossed for Danny McGuire's side.
