Viva Las Vegas!

History will be made on Saturday night as the Betfred Super League heads to Las Vegas!

The highly anticipated and historic quadruple header is finally here, with thousands of Super League and England fans travelling to the extravagant ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’!

About

Super League will be part of the NRL’s action at the iconic Allegiant Stadium for the first time ever with Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves, along with a women’s international game between England Women and Australia Jillaroos on Saturday March 1.

In between, there will be two NRL fixtures for fans to enjoy – the first between Canberra Raiders and New Zealand Warriors, before four-in-a-row Premier winners Penrith Panthers take to the field against Cronulla Sharks to bring the curtain down.

Rugby League Las Vegas is quickly becoming an annual event after it was started back 2024 by the NRL and all attention turns to this hotly anticipated event this week, with 2025 set to be bigger, bolder and better, with more games, more teams, more nations and more opportunities for travelling supporters to take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

And for those watching along at home in the UK, ALL four matches will be televised LIVE and exclusively on Sky Sports.

Last July, Wigan, the reigning Betfred Super League champions, agreed to switch their home league fixture against Warrington to the Allegiant Stadium.

And as the league’s chief entertainers prepare to represent Super League in this sensational setting, there’s two important Super League competition points still up for grabs.

It’s set to be a blockbuster spectacle in the American continent between the best of the best - with Wigan and Warrington’s meetings always cooking up a classic – whether this be last year’s Challenge Cup Final, previous Grand Final showings, or fiercely going head-to-head in the regular rounds.

As a unique opportunity to showcase what Super League is all about to the US market, who will triumph under the bright lights of Las Vegas?

Teams

The teams touched down in Vegas early this week and both 21-man squads are set to be announced in the next 24 hours.

Warriors head coach Matt Peet has named an unchanged squad from the one that defeated Hull FC in Round 2, to take on Warrington Wolves in Vegas.

Wolves head coach Sam Burgess has also named an unchanged squad from the matchday 21 that beat Catalans Dragons in Round 2 last time out.

Kit

Both Wigan and Warrington will play in their bespoke Las Vegas kits for Saturday’s clash.

The Warriors’ kit comprises a Cherry & White twist on the famous stars and stripes of the USA flag. The five stars, denoting the Club’s World Club titles, appear on the hem of the sleeve.

The Wolves’ shirt is predominantly white with opaque tones of the US flag’s stars and stripes across the top and shoulders. The bottom half of the shirt contains two primrose and blue chevrons. The collar and sleeves also contain primrose and blue trims.

There’s a makeover for the club badge also, with the US flag behind the wolf in a holographic look.
