Wigan’s Jake Wardle had another wonderful performance on Friday night, as the Warriors moved to within one win of the 2024 League Leaders’ Shield.
Wardle produced one try and one assist as his side overturned Leeds Rhinos on home soil, while Kaide Ellis also followed suit.

Player of the Month Mikey Lewis continued his magic in Hull KR’s Round 26 victory. Lewis contributed two tries, one try assist and ran 113 metres in just 14 carries in Friday’s game. Dean Hadley also put a colossal shift in where defence was concerned – making 48 tackles and helping to keep Leigh Leopards scoreless.
Meanwhile, Jon Bennison starred in St Helens’ stunning win over Castleford Tigers, racking up three tries.
Four Warrington players deservedly feature in Round 26’s Team of the Week, following a ruthless rout of Huddersfield Giants on the road.
Hat-trick hero Matty Ashton features alongside brace scorers Cai Taylor-Wray and Matty Nicholson.
The mastermind of the operation, George Williams, produced a whooping four try assists, one try and eight tackle busts, as the Wolves significantly boosted their points difference.

Salford beat Hull FC compellingly on Saturday, as a trio of Red Devils appear in Team of the Week. Joe Mellor, Kallum Watkins and Tim Lafai were all try scorers in their side’s sensational performance, with this result also having secured their Play-Off place for 2024.

Finally, Catalans Dragons had to grind out a win against London Broncos, with Romain Navarrete being one of his side’s standouts.
The final round (Round 27) of the Betfred Super League will get underway on Thursday night with Wigan Warriors v Salford Red Devils, live on Sky Sports (K.O. 8pm).
