Our League Predictor | Round 4

Round 4 is here and it's time to get those all-important score predictions in on the Our League Predictor Game!

This week sees former Leeds Rhinos Women and England player and current BBC and Sky Sports pundit Danika Priim give her predictions heading into week four, as fans continue to Go up against the Pros in 2024.

Hull KR v Warrington Wolves

It's set to be a thriller on Thursday night, as Hull KR play hosts Warrington Wolves over in East Hull. The Robins will be aiming to right their wrongs from last week's defeat against Salford, whereas the Wolves will look to continue their momentum and make it three from three.

George Williams is set to make his return for the Wolves, which is a massive boost, whilst Willie Peters has named an unchanged Robins side. There isn't much to separate these two teams in recent years, as it is currently two a piece in the last two seasons. But who will come out on top in Round 4?

Danika Priim's prediction: Hull KR

Our League member predictions: Robins: 57%, Wolves, 43%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Leigh Leopards v Leeds Rhinos

Friday night sees a blockbuster clash when Leigh Leopards take on Leeds Rhinos at the Leigh Sports Village. The Leopards are still searching for their first win of the 2024 season and will be hoping home advantage can work in their favour. The Rhinos, on the other hand, will want to go back-to-back.

Leigh will be without captain John Asiata who misses out due to injury, whilst Leeds will miss James Bentley, James Donaldson and Sam Lisone, who all sit out due to suspensions - but Mikolaj Oledzki is back in contention for the Rhinos.

Leeds have won all but two of their previous meetings, as Leigh did complete the double over Rohan Smith's men last season. But who will take the two points this Thursday?

Danika Priim's prediction: Leeds Rhinos

Our League member predictions: Leopards: 35%, Rhinos: 65%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

St Helens v Salford Red Devils

Can St Helens make it four from four on Friday when they face Salford Red Devils? Paul Wellens' men have made the perfect start in 2024 and will be hoping they can continue this for as long as possible. They will entertain the Red Devils, who also come into this game on the back of an impressive win against Hull KR in Round 3.

Salford however, haven't the best record when it comes to travelling away at Saints, for they are seeking their first away win there in over 44 years - and the first in the summer era. What they do have though, is playmaker Ryan Brierley - a man who has scored a try in each of the Red Devils' last three meetings with St Helens. Could he be the difference on Friday?

Danika Priim's prediction: St Helens

Our League member predictions: Saints: 96%, Red Devils: 4%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Castleford Tigers v Huddersfield Giants

Over in West Yorkshire, there's a fierce local derby taking place as Castleford Tigers will be determined to register their first win of the 2024 season. They host Huddersfield Giants at the Jungle and these two sides have already met once this year in Paul McShane's testimonial match - the Tigers triumphing 20-14.

But where the league is concerned, Huddersfield have won the previous four meetings, including a 0-28 nilling of the Tigers last year on Castleford's home patch. Although only Round 4 and in the early stages, could the result of this match be a determiner in how these sides' seasons might pan out?

 Danika Priim's prediction: Huddersfield Giants

Our League member predictions: Tigers: 28%, Giants: 71%, Draw/Golden Point: 1%

London Broncos v Wigan Warriors

The Broncos face a tough test on home turf on Saturday when they welcome the current Champions to the capital. They were within minutes of securing their first win of 2024 last weekend, but a last-gasp, crushing Morgan Smith try for Hull FC left the Broncos devastated.

But if anything, this fixture highlighted that Mike Eccles' men can compete in the top tier and should be relishing the chance to take on the Warriors, who are unbeaten this season - and look like a real force to be reckoned with.

Wigan head into this Round 4 fixture as clear favourites, although the last time these two sides met in London and in 2019, the Broncos famously won 18-16. Could history possibly repeat itself?

Danika Priim's prediction: Wigan Warriors

Our League member predictions: Broncos: 1%, Warriors: 99%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%

Catalans Dragons v Hull FC

The Dragons are in action against Hull FC over in Perpignan - a place where Tony Smith's men haven't triumphed since 2019.

Hull however, come into this game on the back of a dramatic Round 3 win, whereas the Dragons will look to bounce back after a defeat away at Leeds Rhinos. Who are you backing?

Danika Priim's prediction: Catalans Dragons

Our League member predictions: Dragons: 95%, Hull FC: 5%, Draw/Golden Point: 0%
