Thursday 20 March
Salford Red Devils v Huddersfield Giants (20.00) – live on Sky Sports and SuperLeague+
It’s a tie between two teams fighting to get their first win of the season. Salford and Huddersfield currently make up the bottom two but will be hoping to turn their fortunes around on Thursday night when they come up against one another.
Last time out at the Salford Community Stadium saw a Red Devils’ 60-10 rout of the Giants – although there were two close contests between the two earlier on in the 2024 season.
Both sides are certainly in need of a confidence boost, but who will be the ones to find their feet in Round 5?
For Salford, Joe Shorrocks returns to the squad. The loose-forward was hit with a three-game suspension in Round 3 and subsequently missed Super League games with Hull KR and Castleford Tigers, and a Challenge Cup tie with Bradford Bulls.
Ethan Ryan also returned to the side in the cup and will return to the league side this weekend.
Huddersfield have made just one change to their side, with Niall Evalds poised to make his Giants debut against the club where it all started for him.
Evalds replaces Elliot Wallis in the only change this week.
Club legend and loyal Leroy Cudjoe is also in line to make his 400th career appearance - a mammoth milestone for the 36-year-old Giant.

Friday 21 March
St Helens v Warrington Wolves (20.00) – live on Sky Sports
It’s a stellar showdown as St Helens host Warrington Wolves on Friday, live exclusively on Sky Sports.
There will be no love lost, with Saints out for revenge after their heartbreaking loss against the Wolves in the Eliminators last September.
Golden Point drama unfolded in this game, with George Williams stepping up to slice over a winning drop goal for his side.

The sides faced each other four times last year (three times in the league and one in the Challenge Cup), with Sam Burgess’ men coming away a clean sweep of wins.
St Helens haven’t beaten the Wolves since late 2023, so will have extra motivation to perform at their best on Friday night in front of a bumper crowd.

Likewise, Warrington will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat against Wakefield Trinity.
The Red V have been dealt with a massive blow as their star winger Kyle Feldt is set for a spell on the sidelines following a hand injury. Joe Batchelor is also unavailable for this fixture due to a failed Head Injury Assessment in last week’s game. Jake Burns is the third Saint to step out of the squad.
In come Ben Davies, George Whitby and Dayon Sambou.
There’s plenty of changes in the Warrington side for this highly anticipated clash, as new signing and former Salford maverick Marc Sneyd is set to make his debut for the club.
Matty Ashton, Matt Dufty, Toby King, Arron Lindop and Lachlan Fitzgibbon all return to the squad after knocks, which is a big boost – although Jordy Crowther joins Luke Yates on the sidelines with injury for the next few weeks.
Ashton has scored tries in the Wolves’ last four meetings with St Helens, so the visitors will be welcoming his return to action with eager and open arms.

Wakefield Trinity v Hull FC (20.00) – live on Sky Sports and SuperLeague+
There’s another unmissable clash as two of the league’s most rejuvenated teams meet in Round 5.
Wakefield Trinity are back under the Belle Vue lights, as they seek their first home win of the new campaign.
Trinity have started the 2025 season with two wins from their opening four Super League games with victories away from home against Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves, but they have yet to win in front of their home fans. This is something they will be looking to rectify on Friday…

They welcome John Cartwright’s energised Hull FC side, who have impressed in recent weeks.
A tight Golden Point win over Huddersfield was followed up with a 22-22 thriller against Leigh, before they went on to dump holders Wigan Warriors out of the Challenge Cup last week in emphatic fashion.
Hull also have a 100% away record in Super League this year.
Both will be feeling pretty confident ahead of this one, so we should definitely expect fireworks.
Daryl Powell has been forced into a number of changes ahead of his side’s game against Hull FC – with four out, four in.
Main man Max Jowitt, Matty Storton and Isaiah Vagana all picked up injuries in the Challenge Cup victory over Huddersfield Giants with the club still waiting on full diagnosis on the three players. Jayden Myers is the final member of last week’s squad who drops out.
Trinity are able to welcome three recovered troops back into the fold, however. Cameron Scott and Josh Griffin have been named in Trinity’s 21-man squad and could make an appearance against their former side, whom they both spent seven seasons with.
Ky Rodwell is also in line to feature for the First Team for the first time in 2025 after coming through his injury. Josh Rourke is also included and will be in pole position to take the full back spot with Jowitt on the sidelines.
The Black & Whites have four changes of their own.
Unfortunately, Harvey Barron suffered a hamstring injury at the weekend and could be out of action for around four weeks. Will Gardiner, Callum Kemp and Will Kirby also drop out of the 21-man squad.
Ed Chamberlain has the chance to be selected this week, whilst Liam Watts and Sam Eseh are in line to make their first Super League appearances of the season. In addition, youngster Lloyd Kemp is also rewarded with a place in the team.

Saturday 22 March
Castleford Tigers v Catalans Dragons (15.00) – live on Sky Sports and SuperLeague+
The Tigers will be seeking back-to-back wins on home turf, whereas the Dragons are desperate to find their first win of the season.
It was a close contest at the Jungle last time out, with Tex Hoy scoring the match-winner.
Brad Singleton could feature for Castleford after making the move from Salford. For Catalans, Tariq Sims will miss the trip to West Yorkshire, with Franck Maria and Clément Martin back in the squad.

Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors (17.00) – live on Sky Sports
Who’s ready for an epic encounter? Saturday night on Sky Sports will see a showdown between heavyweights Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors, and this will be the only way to watch.

The latest instalment of @leedsrhinos against @WiganWarriorsRL, Saturday, live on @SkySportsRL Main Event & Action ?#SuperLeague pic.twitter.com/50E4uqWWNr
Their fixtures have become renowned for cooking up a classic, and in their last ten meetings, Leeds have won six, whilst Wigan have won five.

This game also marks a significant milestone as Rhinos legend and Super League’s top try scorer Ryan Hall is set to make his 500th appearance.
The Rhinos are boosted by the return from suspension of prop Tom Holroyd and from injury of scrum half Matt Frawley, but are without hooker Andy Ackers after a hamstring injury sustained at Saints last Friday has sidelined him for 12 weeks.
The Warriors have made one change to their squad as Abbas Miski returns to replace Adam Keighran, who is set to miss the next few months after suffering a knee injury last time out.

Hull KR v Leigh Leopards (15.00) – live on Sky Sports and FREE on SuperLeague+
Don’t miss Sunday’s Super League when Hull KR host Leigh Leopards, where fans can watch this spectacle FREE on SuperLeague+!
Two unbeaten teams remain, and it’s a tussle for top spot as the Leopards make the trip to Sewell Group Craven Park, with the opportunity to leapfrog the Robins in the table should they come away with a victory.
East Hull is no easy place to go, however, with Hull KR having won their last seven home matches, as well as 19 out of their last 21.
Leigh failed to register a point against the Robins in Super League last year, but have showcased some explosive attack in 2025.
It is possible that new Robins recruit Arthur Mourgue could feature in Round 5.
Will Sunday see a plenty of points or a game of defence? And most importantly, who will top the table after Round 5?
